Use of our products
All of our products are for hobby use only, never use them in an industrial or commercial environment. Do not use any of our products in a training environment such as a school. Adhere to all safety warnings and labels. Practice safe handling practices associated with using hand and power tools. Wear safety equipment and attire, especially face shields and goggles, heavy-duty gloves, heavy-duty safety footwear, heavy-duty leather aprons, and respirators. When assembling grinding equipment for use such as our grinder chassis use as many safety options as possible, including wheel shields and covers, safety on/off switches, and grinding debris catchment tanks.
Workshop Safety
Familiarize yourself with safe workshop practices. Read as much literature on the subject and attend a safety course. Use common sense! Never grind near flammable items or liquids (remember that dust collection devices and vacuum cleaners can ingest hot materials and catch on fire). Never grind without safety equipment and attire. Never work near machinery with long hair, long beards, loose clothing such as neckties, flammable clothing, soft shoes which don’t protect the feet, gloves, safety glasses, and ear protection.
If you are a novice knife maker attend a knife-making course to learn safety procedures in hobby knife making.
