Knife Making Belt Grinder Angle Grind Guide (Large)

Description

We have two Angle Guides available. Small and Large. This is the large one. With the Angle Guide, you would be able to grind perfect bevels every time! This is much easier than trying to grind bevels freehand like the pros which is a skill that takes years to master. The front mounting plate measures 9-3/4″ wide & stand 4″ tall which is a perfect size for smaller to medium size knives. The knife mounting holes are Tapped 1/4-20. The front face has 2 slotted mounting points that make it very universal. It also has a built-in Lasered stainless steel protractor plate with Needle Pointer for easy setup. The needlepoint can be adjusted with a screwdriver to absolute accuracy. It also has a Superfine thread turnbuckle for absolute precision adjustments which then can be locked in place with a knob so there is no movement during a job. The hinges are precision machined for zero play.  The two aluminum knurled handles are 3-1/2 tall and designed to give you a secure grip & superior “feel”. On the bottom, there is a .150″ thick ABS sheet plate which provides an exceptionally smooth sliding action when plunge grinding. We have these available separately when they become worn, another reason not to purchase products from overseas since it will be up to you to import replacement parts at great expense! To mount your knife blanks the Angle Guide comes with 44 mounting holes and four Stainless-steel dog point set screws that can be placed strategically along the spine of the blade.
